Express Insurance & Tax Service was founded in 1991, by its current President Nirio J. Rubiera. Mr. Rubiera graduated in 1988 from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing. He acquired knowledge in the insurance industry first by working as a clerk at a local office in Jacksonville, Florida and then managing that same agency. He moved to Gainesville, Florida and acquired a small agency. His experience led to ownership and from a humble beginning of a staff of 2 employees, and first year revenue of $260,000.00, together with his brother and Vice President of the company Walter A. Rubiera, expanded that agency and acquired another one in Ocala, Florida.

In July 2002 Express Insurance & Tax Service conitnued to grow with a purchase of the Port St Lucie location. Express Insurance & Tax Service is a full service Property and Casualty Insurance Agency and a Professional Accounting Firm, representing over 15 different Insurance Companies, including Progressive, Mercury and AIG, and offering Electronic Tax Preparation throughout the state.

With its recent acquisition of Express Insurance and Tax Service in Lake Worth, Florida it continues to grow and offer state of the art insurance and income tax products to its client base of over 10,000. Our current staff has grown to 12 full time employees.
